Alfa5 is the world’s largest XR Sports centre, which combines virtual reality experiences, video games and interactive gaming. The space is located in the eponymous Alfa5 sports complex, an iconic venue in Barcelona’s Poblenou neighbourhood, which has been renovated to accommodate the new centre’s needs, while still preserving its original essence and legacy.

Alfa5 is an indoor venue.
Tuesday to Thursday 17.00 – 22.00 (last entry 20.30).
Fridays 17.00 – 24.00 (last entry at 22.30).

Closed on Mondays.
To enjoy all the Alfa5 experiences, we recommend a visit of some 60 minutes.
Yes, food and drink is available for purchase.
There is no car parking available on the premises. However, Alfa5 can be easily reached by metro L1 or bus lines V23, V25 or 6.
There is no set dress code, although we recommend comfortable/sporty clothing.
There is no merchandise on sale at the venue.
Tickets are available at the venue. However, they may be sold out on the day, so we recommend booking your tickets in advance to ensure entry. You can buy tickets on the Fever app or website
Yes, you can transfer tickets to somebody else free of charge. Just click on “Transfer tickets” in the Fever app. You can contact the Fever team if you need further assistance (make sure to include your ticket order number).
You don’t need to print your ticket. When you arrive, you can find it in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app. Remember to log in using the same account you used to make your purchase. You will also find the QR code for your tickets in the purchase confirmation email.
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, under the “Tickets” section. Remember to log in with the same account you used to purchase your tickets. If you still can’t find your ticket, please contact us.
Subject to availability, you can change the date and/or time of your experience up to 48 hours in advance. If you wish to do so, please contact us with the ID number of your ticket. All tickets are non-refundable. For more information, please see our Terms and Conditions.
You can make group bookings for up to the maximum number of tickets our app/website allows you to purchase (subject to availability). Special group bookings cannot be made for this event.

Yes, certain areas can be accessed with prams and pushchairs, although this is not possible throughout the entire centre. Please check with a member of staff.

Please feel free to take photos and share them, although we ask that you are mindful of other visitors. There is a special designated area for taking photos.
Any lost property can be handed in to an Alfa5 staff member, and can be reclaimed at the ticket office at the entrance.

The experience is recommended for children aged 6 and over, although younger children are also welcome. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Audio guides are not available for this experience.
When you arrive at Alfa5 with your ticket, you will be given a wristband. This will allow you to enjoy and take part in all the venue’s experiences.
Upon your entry to Alfa5, you will be given a wristband loaded with ten credits that you can use to access the experiences. Once inside, you will be able to check how many credits you need for each experience.
To access each experience, our staff will validate your wristband with the corresponding credits and tell you how to proceed.
You will be able to top up your wristband at the entrance to the venue and at various points inside. Our staff will also be able to direct you to the charging machines.
The wristband is non-transferable. Each wristband is linked to a specific user to be able to track scores and rankings.
Yes, you must always use the same wristband at the centre.
You can link your wristband to your user profile online (if you pre-booked your ticket), or once inside the centre. In the latter case, our staff will assist you in creating your profile and linking it to your wristband.
Yes, users can keep the wristband.
Each Alfa5 ticket purchase automatically comes with ten credits. Once you arrive at the centre, you can recharge your wristband as often as you like, and with as many credits as you wish.
For each Alfa5 experience you will need a certain number of credits. When you arrive at the centre, you can find everything you need on our information screens.
Yes, credits can be transferred from one user to another. Our staff will guide you on how to do this.
Your credits appear in your user account, so you must create a profile to view them.
You can create your user profile on our website [pending profile link] once you’ve purchased your ticket online, or also with the help of our staff when you arrive at the centre.
When you arrive at Alfa5, our staff will link your user profile to the wristband.
The Alfa5 user profile is mainly used to check your scores and view the rankings of the experiences. The rankings are updated as users play and participate.
Points can be earned for each of the experiences. The total points for each user are converted into an ELO score (your skill level), which users can view in their profile.
Only users can carry out missions, which change throughout the year. In your user profile you can check which missions are active to earn more points at specific times.
Each user profile shows the different Alfa5 badges that are available. There are several types of badge, all displayed within the profile.
As long as the user is linked to the wristband, you will be able to check your game history and scores in your user profile.

Layers of Reality is a pioneering studio specialising in the creation of augmented reality content, offering memorable, meaningful and transformative experiences. In 2019 it opened its flagship creation and exhibition centre, IDEAL Barcelona. In March 2022, it opened the MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) centre in Matadero, Madrid, in collaboration with SOM Produce and StarDust International. Then, in March 2024, it opened Bombas Gens Digital Arts Centre in Valencia.

The Ubae-Eurofitness Group was established on 20 February 1989 and was created as a non-profit, recreational cultural and sports entity whose purpose is cultural and sports promotion, mirroring the European “Sport for all” movements. There are 18 affiliated entities that practice more than 30 sports, with more than 480 teams and a total of 14,000 athletes. Under the Eurofitness brand, it currently manages 22 sports clubs, most of them in Catalonia, one in Galicia and the other in Ljubliana (Slovenia).
